Home port for our boat is Copenhagen at the moment.
We spent an extra two days there after we docked.

The Stroge is the main shopping area/pedestrian mall/happening place
in Copenhagen (without having to pay to get in).
Lots of street performers, eateries and a whole gamut of shops to admire.
Next time, I'll dedicate an entire suitcase to Scandinavian house wares.
Oh the love.

We stayed in the Best Western Hotel City which was really lovely.
Clean, simple (typical Scandinavian) and the best feather
comforters of anywhere.

We were on the top floor and noticed the Danish flag across

While this big, full flag was flown during the day.

We did a canal tour and saw the royal yacht
being polished up for its next sail.

The Little Mermaid Statue is a bit out of the way from
the main part of Copenhagen but we did see the back of her
which was just fine.
These interesting spires were fun to photograph.
The one below is for the Danish stock market.
It was supposed to be four crocodiles guarding the building but
the sculptor had no idea what crocodiles look like
so they look more like dragons.

The quote in that other post about the headquarters of the Church being in Denmark is really funny, because when I was in London, the local members felt the same way except about the UK.
